The Springfield Three

It was a quiet summer morning in Springfield, Missouri, but something was terribly wrong at Sherrill Levitt's house. The front door stood slightly ajar, the lights were on, and the TV hummed. Yet, Sherrill, her daughter Suzie, and Suzie's best friend Stacy were gone. Their cars were still outside, their purses and belongings untouched inside.
